ARRAN!!!!

Before half term I went on a mystical magical journey to Arran on a geology trip!!!!
On the way there I accomplished three things Id never done before:
1. First time on a fast train.
2. First time on a sea ferry.
3. First time off the Britain mainland.

It was soooooooooo cold on Arran and more than just a little wet *Brrr*. The first morning we were doing fieldwork the weather was absolutely horrendous and our teachers said it was the worst weather they had ever seen. On one day I was soo cold I wore 8 layers, four of which were fleeces! For that I won 'Michelin Woman of the Week Award' which quite amused me.

Despite it all I had a good time, I got to know all the people from my geology class better, had more than a few fits of hysterics, made a new friend, acquired a new msn name and got to skip a week of college!!

All in all I had fun!!! :)

Camp 08!!

CCIW camp is the most awesome camp in the world ever. I went on camp in summer for my 2nd and last year as a camper. I am too old next year so I'm going to be coming back as a cook along with Sam Imbrey and Peter. I can't wait!!!!

What have I been doing?

I've been up to millions over the holidays.
I had two weeks of being at home before I went on the family holiday. Ahhhhhhhh two weeks of nothingness, it all seems so far away now.
The family holiday was to the Yorkshire Dales, it was so much fun. We were staying in our caravan in Hawes. The caravan site was only a 5 min walk from the town, which is where we spent most of our time. Well when we weren't sunbathing in the glorious weather that we had, when all our friends back home were having miserable weather. Hawes is in Wenslydale, where they make cheese and we kept seeing all the cheese lorries going to the factory with all the local milk. We had the bestest time so good i just had to use a made up word to describe it.
We got up to some random things on holiday like going on a bat walk and it was well cool!!! we used bat detectors to hear them and we got to see some real live bats. We went to a sheep dog demo, which was pretty cool also, I can remember going to the same place when I was little to see a sheep dog demo. We got to go to a place called the Forbidden Corner. I'd been when I was little but couldn't remember much and my sister couldn't remember anything at all. It's this really weird place like a labyrinth but a million times more confusing and has some really weird things in (and scary). Before we went here we'd gone for a picnic in one of our favourite spots and Esti got completely covered in mud SOOOOOOOOOOO funny!!! That's all I can remember about my holiday for now except that ohhhhhh we went to a castle!! I love castles they are soooo cool (I need to get a new word cool seems to be my word of the day or something) I don't care how geeky I sound and that I bought waaaay too many rocks (OK now I sound really geeky!!!).

long time, no blog

Its been too long since I've blogged but I've been busy, busy, busy!!!
I've been on holiday, camp, out and about into town and to the pics and having a sleepover or two!!!!
Now sadly its college again all to soon!!!

YL summer summit

Wooooooooooo piccies from YL summer summit!!! I knew I'd get them on here eventually yey!!!
In this bunch of crazy people there's Becky Bignell, Esti looking rather weird in Jo's hat, Mikey, Ella looking like shes going to sneeze (shes going to kill me if she sees this piccie on the web), Caleb and Thomas' umbrella, Esti looking rather tall because she was standing on a bail of hay and I wasn't, oh and Mikey again (looking very happy if I may say so).
Also me being very clever (NOT) managed to put a video on here. The video shows a blurry blob running down an obstacle course, that blurry blob is me (don't know how I ended up doing that, I was cover in icing sugar for hours) and the big face at the end is Caleb's.

YL summer summit

Twas YL summer summit on Sat. I had lots of fun. We spent a while trying to squish 140 people into Joe's greenhouse, than a quiz (my team came 2nd to last) to determine the order in which we got food. I had vegetarian burgers and a vegetarian sausage, (Michael said I had 5 burgers whivh is a lie) I made Michael taste some and he really didn't like it, then Caleb tasted some and he nearly threw up (his face was sooo funny), then Seth had some and Mikey. Then I made Michael have some sausage, this time he nearly threw up (there's a picture of this knocking around somewhere). He then proceeded to tell me not to eat my tea as he thought it was dodgy or something. After that we had the obstacle course, I took part in this, I had to bouncy hopper down the field (my mate said he's never seen anyone bouncy hopper soo high), over a pool and jump then over a bale of hay, then i had to bob for an apple (my fringe was soaking), then i had to hula hoop two times, then crawl through a tunnel, then get a malteser out of icing sugar with my teeth. And after all this I still had to run to the finish and I was sticky ALL night. All this in the rain and THEN I find out my mate filmed me doing this (o the shame lol). We then crammed everyone back into the green house and then had a talk and then some played football. I sat inside because it was raining and it slowly got dark.
