My Craft

Here is the craft i made with the stuff i brought home on Tues. strictly speaking its not like all the kids as they decorated theirs with stars and sports stickers, but i felt like being girly.

Holiday club - 3rd day - cont.

I was very bored today when the oldest group were doing their craft as they didn't really need any help as they were quite capable so i made a pretty blu tack thing and here it is.

Holiday club - 3rd day - Thur

Piccies from the third day. We were making football/ sports people. It didn't go as bad as we thought it would but it take all the time again.

On my table when we had the youngest group it was great because as you can see in the second pic we had four helpers and 3 kids so it was easy.

The little girl on my left in the last picture made her person into me by putting glasses on the person because i was wearing glasses. However she told me they were sunglasses as the people were footballers therefore i was playing football out side so needed sunglasses (well that was her thinking anyway).

Rainbows

I was looking through some pics and i found some rainbows. Here's a good one. It is now my desktop walllpaper. I thought i'd put it on my blog coz rainbows make you smile :)

Stuart

He's our new pastor but me and Bethan have decided that we are not going to call him pastor Stuart because that sounds too weird as he's just been plain old Stuart for as long as we've known him, which is about 10 years, maybe more. We decided we are going to declare this to him but we haven't yet. Perhaps we shall do it at day 3 of holiday club.

Holiday club - 2nd day - Wed

Me and Bethan in craft on the 2nd day. We are supposed to dress sporty or bright for the club and yesterday Bethan was supposedly dressed as a tennis player (she was wearing a really short skirt over jeans) but none of us understood as her skirt wasn't white so i think she gave up today. We were making wipe boards. The children had to colour in flags to decorate their piece of card that were then laminated to become *drum role* a wipe board. However for the youngest group this seemed to be quite hard. The little girl sat on my knee had a lot of pink flags. Her daddy is Irish and she's quite proud of that so she did manage to colour an Irish flag it took a lot of encouraging though, but she enjoyed it. I found out today that four year olds can still be ambidextrous, she kept switching hands. The girl on my left, your right, coloured all her flags green then declared to me that she likes green. O well she enjoyed herself. Even the older group found it hard, it took up all the time we had to make the wipe boards, we usually have some time left. Tomorrows craft is even more complicated. O dear!!!
PS i have again made the craft. this is becoming a habit of mine!!

Holiday club - 1st day - Tues

I have piccies of this years holday club now. here are some piccies of esti and some of the children from holiday club in the craft room on the first day. They are colouring in their bags that their craft goes in. They were supposed to be decorated with a sporty theme but i think that went to pot a little. Especially in the youngest group that are in the pics. There was one little boy who wouldn't wear his badge all day until esti managed to put it on him like 15 mins before the end. But all in all it was an awesome day as ever.

Holiday Club!!!! Champions Challenge!!!

This week its half term and therefore that means HOLIDAY CLUB! This year the theme is champions challenge. Unfortunately i haven't got any pics from this year as so far there has only been one day but i have found some piccies from last years holiday club. There's me and dawn helping with the craft, making penguins and there's Liz the official photographer. First day in craft (tues) we were making door hangers, it was fun and I've brought the stuff home to do it at home. YEY!

There's also a pic from last year of us all dancing and doing crazy actions to the songs. holiday club is great because you can dance and do crazy actions all week long and no-one cares because there all doing it as well! I love holiday club. o look there is me and Ali my bestest mate ever dancing to some songs. The songs this year are again incredibly cheesy but they're best that way, Ive already had two songs stuck in my head and its only the first day. i can't wait for more holiday club, it's going to be incredibly awesome!!!

My very first post on my very first blog

Hi my name is ketch and this is my blog. I got the idea from my dad, who has decided to start a holiday blog but seeing as were not on holiday, u might have figured that there's not much on it. In fact he now has more comments than posts and he only has two posts lol. Anyhu back to MY blog which i am very proud of, simply because i am in no way technical minded and also because until recently my computer was used only for homework and here i am doing something on my computer for fun. so anyway there it was ... my first post.
